LTE Asia (23-25 Sept) is a big event with over 1000 attendees, 60% of whom are representing operators from 50 countries across the region and beyond. You can see the agenda at a glance, and you’ll notice on the evening before the main event kicks off we’re running a TADMeetup Singapore on Tuesday 23rd September from 6-8:30PM.
NOTE: We’re running this TADMeetup Singapore with Mobile Monday Singapore, they have Starhub sponsoring the event, so we have free food and drinks for the first 80 people who sign up AND turn up (so no signing up and turning up at 8PM, you’ll miss out), you sign up here: http://smiletuesday.peatix.com/.
TADMeetups are local, fun, informal and FREE gatherings of people interested in telecom application development. Its part of the TADS (TADHack and TADSummit) initiative to build a profitable and vibrant telecom application developer ecosystem. We’ll have a mix of developers, vendors and telcos in attendance.
We’ve run them in New Jersey, Paris and Austin. I reviewed the latest TADMeetupNJ in this weblog.
The agenda is:
- Introductions
- TADHack and TADSummit summaries
- Demos:
- Dialog Axiata case study from hSenid Mobile (this weblog reviews an example of their success)
- In-call services from Tropo;
- Restcomm App Store: A new marketplace for communication apps from Telestax; and
- WebRTC from Temasys; and
- myVirtualLesson, a remote golf instruction application using WebRTC from Dialogic.
- Networking
I’ll be updating the demo descriptions when I receive them.

I’ll not be around on Day Two as I have to head back home, but I will be in Singapore on Monday 22nd and 23rd September before the main event in case you’d like to catch up.
