CXTech Week 18 2020 News and Analysis

The purpose of this CXTech Week 18 2020 newsletter is to highlight, with commentary, some of the news stories in CXTech this week. What is CXTech?  The C stands for Connectivity, Communications, Collaboration, Conversation, Customer; X for Experience because that’s what matters; and Tech because the focus is enablers.

You can sign up here to receive the CXTech News and Analysis by email. Please forward this on if you think someone should join the list. And please let me know any CXTech news I should include.

Simwood Meet is now available in the App Store

Simwood Meet is now in the App Store for private, secure and free video meetings. Its Jitsi at the core, with some Simwood magic mixed in. Its timing was perfect as I can include them as an example of approaches to using WebRTC in the TADSummit Asia 2020 WebRTC Status Review I’m compiling with the help of many people working at the coalface of the industry.

TADSummit Asia 2020

We announced the plans for TADSummit Asia 2020 through the month of May. Here is the TADSummit Asia 2020 agenda.

We just added a session to the agenda “CPaaS: Let the Great Unbundling begin!” by Dave Horton, Creator of drachtio.org, the open source framework for SIP Server applications. This evening we’ll be adding another on “How chatbots enhance customer engagement and customer communication” by Jay Shah, Partner at &How Intelligence, Data & Artificial Intelligence Specialist.

We even kicked off TADSummit Asia 2020 early today with a TeleSign TeleTalk on Digital Identity For Seamless Onboarding. I hope to have the recording available soon.

Over the past weekend I interviewed programmable communications innovator Ruwan Dissanayaka, Co-Founder and CEO at Extrogene Software. In the interview he covers the new application they just launched, Vibaga (past papers for students). EdTech is a common theme across several of the innovator interviews for TADSummit Asia. I’m looking forward to sharing the excellent insights from the interviews.

Another of our TADSummit Asia interviews is with David Curran on the importance of hacking. And over the past weekend his hack Fever Finder won Techstars Startup Weekend Ireland. Well done David!
